Day 20 - North Platte (Nebraska)

Time zone change! I’m in the central time zone now. One more to go…Finally I got some clouds, and the wind wasn’t spirit-breaking. I ‘cruised’ into North Platte where thanks to Eilish I can relax, sort of like a half-day off solution. Since I didn’t have a lot to pedal, I stopped at almost every little town’s park for a short break (all together that just meant two parks in the completed 90km). Corn fields and cow farms were alternating on the way. Even without looking, I could tell right away when I was getting closer to the cow farms…

I wish everyday’s weather was like today’s! It would be a lot easier. Especially here. Other then this amazing weather and a few nice little parks, this part of the tour displays similarities to the previous day(s), and I’m sure I can make a fair assumption, that it’ll be quite similar tomorrow as well. Well, this is, after all the Mid western USA!

Újabb Időzóna átléptem át! Most a középső időzónában vagyok. Már csak egy van hátra.Végre voltak felhők az égen és a szél sem volt brutális. NorthPlatteba értem, ahol Eilishnek köszönhetően nem kell a ma esti viharral törődnöm. Mivel nem kellett sokat tekernem, megálltam minden apró várocska parkjában kicsit pihenni. Ez mondjuk két parkot jelent a megtett 90 kilométeren. Kukoricaföldek és tehén farmok váltották egymást. Azt könnyű volt észrevenni, hogy mikor közeledtem egy tehén farmhoz, a gyenge szembeszél mindent előre jelzett. 

Örülnék, ha minden nap ilyen idő lenne, egyszerűbb lenne a tekerés:). A parkokat és a szuper időt leszámítva, a mai nap nagyon sok hasonlóságot mutatott a tegnapival (táji-értelemben) és erős a gyanúm, hogy rokonságot mutat a holnapi nappal is. Hiába, ez az amerikai középnyugat!
